Partners in a powerful Ontario
Dillon Wittick, a graduate of Georgian College's Electrical Engineering Technology - Automated Systems program, is a Controller Trainee at Hydro One - Grid Operations Centre in Barrie, Ont.
Hydro One will see about 40 per cent of its staff retire in the next few years, and by investing $3 million in Georgian, Algonquin, Mohawk and Northern colleges, the company hopes to train and recruit the best and the brightest graduates.
The Hydro One partnership will provide funds for important upgrades to lab equipment, program content, and scholarships for students in Georgian’s Electrical Engineering Technology programs.
Many Georgian graduates are already working in rewarding careers with Hydro One and other utilities in the province. Here’s your chance to be part of it.
